The long weekend

Well the weekend went by quickly. Saturday was up and took Jassy to her dance classes. While she was there, I took Miss Amanda to McD's to play in the play park. Then we stopped at Gifts and Gadgets to look for an apple peeler/corer/slicer. We found one. Yeah. Back to pick up Jassy. On the way home we picked up Seb at a friends as the rest of the afternoon was to be cleaning the house as a family. Well didn't get the whole house cleaned but a good chunk was done. Now to keep it that way.

Sunday was Seb's last regular season football game. The kids played great. Seb plays for the Spruce Grove Atom Predators. We played the Silver Raiders and the score in the end was 30-7 for the Raiders. For the last 3 plays of the game, the Raiders took a knee two times. The last play was ours and they allowed us to run the ball for a touchdown, and then the kids just stood there while we ran in the convert. That is great sportsmanship. We have only ever made one other touchdown during the season. Our kids had a great time.

Monday, Dave allowed me to sleep in. He even took the kids out for breakfast so it would be quiet. I got up and started baking some buns for Thanksgiving dinner. I made 2 dozen dinner buns and also an apple crisp with my new apple machine. The kids had fun using it. Dinner was at mom and dad's place, both my sisters showed up and most of my nephews and nieces. It was a great day.

I love baking with my kids. I hate eating all the baking afterwards. Well, my mouth likes it, my a$$, not so much... lol
